MICAH, the Tipperary native whose vocal range rivals industry icons like Sia and Lady Gaga, is set to make waves in 2024. Her electric show at Whelan’s in August 2023 has already marked her as one to watch, and her debut EP ‘Villain’, dropping in October 2024, promises to solidify her place in the music industry. Recognized by publications such as HotPress and Golden Plec, MICAH’s music combines a dark pop vibe reminiscent of artists like Fletcher, Loreen, Olivia Rodrigo, Tove Lo, and Tate McRae. Her new tracks, including the ‘pop banger’ “No Love,” are set to captivate audiences and critics alike. Her previous single has received substantial airplay on stations like Today FM and RedFM, and have charted multiple times on the Dutch Dance Top 40 on Spotify. With over 260k streams, MICAH’s emotionally charged tracks, addressing themes of depression and personal growth, resonate with a growing international fanbase. Produced by Christoph ‘Hadl’ Hassel (Sony, Universal, Warner), her music is crafted for electrifying live performances, with more bookings and national and international TV appearances on the horizon for 2024. Join Patrick and the Lovestock team next Sunday @dunlaoghairemusicfestival From 8pm till 9.30pm, where he is hosting: “Chieftains, Brehons and Bards” Evoking Ireland’s ancient gaelic past through its music live at Walter's, Dún Laoghaire. Join Paddy as he builds on the success of last year’s sold-out show by introducing the three primordial musical instruments from Gaelic Ireland - The Early Irish Harp, the Uilleann Pipes and the Bodhran - played by the finest performers of those instruments in the country. Paddy will speak briefly about the brehon law, the clan system and Gaelic spirituality and discuss some of the colourful characters from the 16th Century - when Gaelic Ireland was in full bloom - such as Fiach McHugh O'Byrne and Ruairí Óg O'More (think Braveheart, only better!)  He will sing songs (in both English and Irish) from that era or inspired by it and explain their historical and cultural context to evoke a real sense of the true spirit of this ancient land.
