We pride ourselves on supporting local Irish musicians and bring to you a flavour of genres from every corner of Éire. We focus on the traditional and folk element of our Irish music and also welcome more modern developments, like trad rock or trad hop to name a couple. We also bring you some of our most celebrated artists who have made it to global audiences and stages.
Here, we will host a variety of talks in areas including mental health and on topics like trauma, grief, anxiety etc… We will also bring in experts on ‘sustainable living’ and they will share with us their knowledge about how to grow our own food, soil health, rewilding beautiful Éire plus many more alluring topics. These inspiring talks are sure to bring you back to the land and people, with a new sense of empowerment in taking better care of yourself, your family and your surroundings in a more organic fashion.
Famous for our Seanchaí’s rich wisdom and knowledge of our heritage, we enjoy many magical stories collected around the land historically that still lives on in the more recent Seanchaí’s who still practice this ancient tradition. We have variations of this in this corner. As well as storytelling, we bring poetry and comedy intertwined with our mythology. You will get a taste of this mystical past from the most passionate Irish men and women from all around the Emerald Isle.
We appreciate and support small Irish traders and focus primarily on organic goods, homemade treats and handmade products like organic food, honey, candles, cosmetics, jewellery, books, art and crafts. There is something to suit all ages. We enjoy creating an ambience with Irish love and tradition. Ancient arts, crafts and remedies will all be available at our market area for all of the family to enjoy as well as more modern creations. Whether it's ancient or organic, you will see a great deal of our country’s creative culture and rich heritage in this area.
We have an amazing selection of therapies available here from physical, emotional to spiritual health. We acknowledge and appreciate that people respond differently to treatments or ideas and that ‘no one size fits all’. We reach out locally here too and encourage therapists from the county we perform in, to come and demonstrate what they do. Most will give you tasters so you can experience their area of expertise, some will give their full treatment depending on the therapy. We have seen reflexologists, massage therapists, card readers, energy workers, spirit cafes plus many more therapies designed to meet all of your family’s needs.
We understand children and their needs, so we work very hard in providing a space for them to create and learn, so they won't be bored. We host plenty of interactive workshops like creating St.Bridget/ Naomh Bhríde protective cloaks, stitching good intentions, bracelet making, holistic bath bomb workshops, face painting and balloon making, storytelling, arts and crafts and much much more. Your children won't be disappointed and parents will get to enjoy a treatment or two while your kids are happily busy creating themselves.
